Venezuela politics: Arrest warrants issued for opposition members
Arrest warrants have been issued for nine members of the opposition in Venezuela. Two of them have already been detained. They’re close to Maria Corina Machado, who’s banned from running in the upcoming presidential election. Machado says the arrests amount to ‘brutal repression’ and are an attempt to prevent free and fair elections.
