Tala Aafana, a 16-year-old displaced from Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, reflects on her changed life since the war began. Previously, she enjoyed a carefree childhood filled with friends, family, and school. However, after the escalation on October 7, her father was killed, and their home was bombed, forcing her family to move frequently. She expresses feelings of loss and disorientation, struggling without access to basic necessities and living with strangers.
