Early on, Dixie D’Amelio was embarrassed by the dance videos her younger sister Charli (#2) was posting to a nascent TikTok. She’s since joined the party—amassing 57 million followers and earning $10 million in 2021. She’s leveraged her TikTok fame to launch a pop music career, reality show on Hulu and Snap and a family VC firm 444 Capital. Now, with sister Charli, mom and dad, Dixie is switching from influencer to owner—their D’Amelio Brands will create footwear and beauty lines to sell to their combined 200 million TikTok fans.
