Zuma’s election challenge: Ruling ANC faces fight for votes from new party

The ruling party in South Africa is facing its toughest election battle since taking over after apartheid ended 30 years ago.
Some surveys suggest the African National Congress could lose its parliamentary majority for the first time.
The ANC’s being challenged by a new party created by former president Jacob Zuma.
And his home state of KwaZulu-Natal will be a key battleground for votes in the general election in May.
