‘Grave concern’ over Gaza siege: US warns against any ‘policy of starvation’
The United Nations Security Council has held an emergency meeting on northern Gaza, where a siege by Israeli forces is in its 12th day. The US ambassador to the UN called on Israel to uphold its humanitarian responsibilities, warning against any ‘policy of starvation’.
